STEP 2
TELEPHONE SCREENING
Sierra Bradley, our Intake Coordinator, will call you to conduct a 15–20-minute initial telephone screening. This call will cover a variety of areas including important aspects of your personal life, any risks you are facing, and your insurance information or fees per session. The Intake Coordinator will answer questions you have regarding the types of services we provide and our next steps. There is no charge for this confidential initial screening. During this screening, the Intake Coordinator will determine if you will be seen under Therapeutic Services or Family Court Services.
THERAPY SERVICES
STEP 3
SCHEDULE YOUR FIRST SESSION
A therapist will call you to schedule your first session. Nervous? Have a look at pictures of our clinic and a list of our therapists to get to know TBPM.
If you are being seen in person please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out your first session paperwork.
If you are being seen virtually, your therapist will email the starting paperwork to you. It is important that you complete the paperwork and return it prior to your first appointment.
STEP 4
ONGOING THERAPY
At TBPM, we practice a range of therapeutic interventions including CBT, Solution Focused, EMDR, DBT.
The length of your treatment will be decided by you and your therapist and based on progress and clinical needs. Weekly therapy is the most common, but you and your therapist may decide that you would benefit from multiple weekly sessions or bimonthly sessions.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long.
FAMILY COURT SERVICES
At TBPM, we provide several Family Court related services (Child Custody Evaluations, Co-parenting Therapy, Parent Coaching, Private Recommending Mediation and more). The length of your treatment will depend on the type of service you need.
STEP 3
Contact with your Forensic Specialist
A Family Court Specialist will call you to get more information on about your Family Court Mental Health Service needs. You might be required to provide court paperwork, the name of your co-parent.
Your Family Court Specialist will schedule your first appointment. This might be an individual appointment or a joint appointment with another Party in your case
Some services require a Court Order prior to an appointment being made.
STEP 4
Family Court Services Appointment
Your Family Court Services Specialist will schedule an individual or joint appointment for you depending on the type of service you require.
Your Family Court Specialist will email you forms and/or questionnaires relevant to your type of case. Please have the forms completed prior to your first appointment.
STEP 5
SCHEDULE YOUR FIRST SESSION
A therapist will call you to schedule your first session. Nervous? Have a look at pictures of our clinic, our helpful directions & parking guide, and a list of our therapists to get to know TBPM. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out your first session paperwork.
